NOTICE TO MEMBERS OF BEXLEY RSL & COMMUNITY CLUB

 

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Annual General Meeting will be held in the Club rooms Tuesday the 24th April at 6pm.

 

FINANCIAL REPORTS AVAILABLE TO MEMBERS Pursuant to the Corporations Act 2001 the financial reports (i.e. the annual report for each year) will be accessible on the Club’s web site. Copies of the reports will not be sent to any member unless a member gives written notice that he or she elects to receive those reports electronically or by post. If a member does not so notify the Club that he or she wishes to receive a copy of the Club’s annual report or a particular report, the Club will only make the annual report available on-line on the Club’s web site, at www.bexleyrsl.com.au.   B1 - BEX001SignedFinancialReport2011.pdf (2,9 MB)

NOTE: All business and notices shall be given to the Secretary at least seven (7) days prior to the date of such meeting.

 

AGENDA

a) To confirm the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting.

b) To receive and consider the reports of the Board.

c) To receive and consider the Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss and Auditors report thereon.

d) To declare the ballot for the Board of Directors for the ensuing year

e) To consider, and if thought fit, pass an Ordinary Resolution providing for various Directors’ benefits.

f) To consider out of pocket expenses for the President and Treasurer

g) To approve the Club to allocate car parking spaces for use by the Sub-Branch President and Secretary

h) To approve the Club to allocate car parking spaces for use by the Club President, Secretary and Treasurer and other directors from time to time.

i) To deal with any business of which due notice has been given.

Welcome to Bexley RSL

I take great pleasure in welcoming you to Bexley RSL, a Club that  takes great pride in retaining that personable feeling.

First time visitors are amazed that our narrow frontage hides the true size of the Club. Little did they know that the Club is on 1,400 square metres and has 3 function rooms including a large timber floored auditorium to seat 250 people, another 90 seat function room and a smaller 30 seat combined function/meeting room as well as a 120 seat Bistro, large main lounge. There is undercover parking for 120 cars with overflow parking available over the road in the council carpark.

We are proud to announce that we now have full control over the Kitchen. We now trade for lunch and dinner 7 days a week with a contempory menu but at affordable prices. We still have our $6 meals. See GALLERY 2207 Brasserie for details.

Bexley RSL has been undergoing a transformation over the last 5 years modernising it and ensuring its future viability as one of the leading clubs in the community.
